I offer both standard quality and seconds pins. Please specify which grade you'd like when adding pins to your cart.
Standard Grade Pins:
These pins are free from major imperfections. However, please keep in mind that since enamel pins are handmade, no pin will be 100% perfect. With this mind, standard grade pins are among the highest quality in the batch but may exhibit the following minor imperfections, usually only noticeable upon close inspection:
- Minor scratches
- Small specks, marks, or bubbles
- Slightly uneven fills
- Imperfections on the backside of the pin
- Minor metal discoloration
- Slightly misaligned screenprinting on screenprinted pins
B-Grade Pins:
These pins include one or multiple of the imperfections listed above in the standard grade section. However, they are more noticeable and therefore are sold at a discounted price. B-grade pins are still durable despite their flaws.
Seconds Pins:
These pins are the lowest quality of the batch. They have noticeable flaws and are sold at a discounted price. These flaws may include:
- Wrong or missing paint colors
- Uneven fills in visually important areas
- Oxidization of the metal
- Deep scratches
- Large smudges or stains
- Many specks, marks, or bubbles
